Job Summary:

Develop, plan, execute and finalize projects within budget and to meet operational/customer specifications and requirements while adhering to define project timelines.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations that augment/enhance existing strategic plans, philosophies and processes.
• Responsible for developing project kick-off meeting to define project, timeline, budget and delivery requirements to project execution team. This includes weekly project communications that define % of completion of the overall project to plan and cash flow projections that include customer payments and outflows to suppliers.
• Ensures that each member assigned to Project Team meets customer, delivery and financial objectives. Where risk is identified, the Senior Project Manager will submit an action plan to the Plant Manager and General Manager to get projects back on track.
• Updates his/her job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations (Project Management Institute,etc)
• Responsible for learning and understanding the technical requirements. Discuss requirements to transition from European Standards to North American standards.

• Responsible for acting as Primary Project Manager for large scale projects.
• Creates the WBS for projects assigned. Identifying key deliverables, key production and financial milestones and ensuring all team members understand and meet these dates.
• Identification of the critical path in this same document and making sure adequate resources are assigned to keep the critical path on schedule.
• Ensures that Project Close out reports are completed and meetings are held with appropriate individuals and departments to uncover lessons learned. Strategize with team members to develop strategy/action plans for future projects to improve the outcome.
• Understand basic revenue models, P/L, and cost to completion projections.
• Effectively utilize each member of the project team to his/her fullest potential.

Full-time salaried 1st shift position. Must have freedom and willingness to work extended hours/ and or perform weekend work when the need arises.

Will be required to work from our location in Lewis Run, PA.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in Project Management preferred. Certified Project Manager is a plus. Background in a technical field such as engineering will be required. Estimating experience also required.
• English Language Skills: Read and interpret documents such as drawings, quotations, bill of materials and detailed job instructions. Write routing reports and correspondence. Speak and project a professional image to visitors.
